The Licking County Historical Society

Office & Library

The Society’s office and library are located on the second floor of the Buckingham House in Veterans’ Park, Newark , Ohio.  The library contains the paper and photographic archives of the historical society, as well as a collection of books, maps, and directories that pertain to the history of the area.  Copy services are available in the office.  The library is open to anyone interested in doing research on the history of Newark and/or Licking County.  The facilities are open year-round by appointment.  Call 740-345-4898 or email: lchs@alink.com
